Mini Thalipeeth

Gluten free snack that can be a base for pizzas,canapes,etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl thalipeeth bhajani flour (includes different flours such as jowar,bajra,nachni,pulses,etc.)
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • salt
  • red chilli powder
  • coriander seed powder
  • cumin seed powder
  • optional:if you want you can include any grated vegetable or leafy vegetable of your choice to make it a complete meal.

Instructions

  1. Mix all the above ingredients.

  2. add a little water and mix well to form a ball of dough.

  3. divide it into smaller balls.

  4. flatten it as much as possible with your hands on the kitchen platform.

  5. with the back of a spoon make a small hole in the centre.

  6. place this on a hot pan.

  7. drizzle oil in the hole and allow to cook.

  8. flip and allow to cook for some more time.

  9. serve with curd.

  10. note:this can be used as a gluten free base for canapes,pizzas or if made without onions and veggies can be rolled into a tortilla or chapati and cut into triangles like nachos and deep fried or baked.
