Ingredients

  • 1.5lb strawberries (these do not need to be perfect!)
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • cold water if needed

Instructions

  1. Chop the strawberries and put into saucepan with the apple and lemon juice

  2. Mix until well combined

  3. Cook on a low heat, mashing often with a wooden spoon until the mixture is thick and smooth

  4. Watch the jam doesn’t burn,and add cold water if mix seem to thick, but keep water to a minimum

  5. Pour into sterilized, warmed jars and seal

  6. store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks

  7. you can swap the strawberries for any other berries, or mix and match berries to your own taste!
