Ingredients

  • Okay, hello again everyone today i have a recipe for you that i love!
  • now what you need is
  • 1)Cucumber(1="1-2 people" depending on thickness and length) the thicker the better, also freshness is important.
  • 2)white cheese; now i prefer low salt, because this is a summer snack and salt makes you thirsty, how ever this recipe is adjustable so use whatever you like.
  • 3)Tooth picks(wooden preferably, plastic slides right off)
  • (Try to keep your ingredients in the fridge for at least an hour or two before you use them, it’ll make them much more delish and refreshing, if don’t have time just stick your cucumbers in some cold water for a few minutes while you prepare your cheese)

Instructions

  1. Now i’m sure most of you have guessed what your next steps are, however lets go over them just to make sure you got it right.

  2. 1) Wash your cucumber thoroughly, and peel it if you want (i prefer peeled)

  3. 2) Start slicing it into small discs (2-3 mm each) thin enough to have some juice but not thick enough to be bulky .

  4. 3) Now take your cheese and mash it a bit with a fork(that will make it easier for it to stay where you put it) and then take a small amount and richly lather a slice of cucumber with it, then stick another cucumber slice on top of it (it should look like a green Oreo)

  5. 4) Now spear it with a toothpick

  6. 5) Repeat!Repeat!Repeat

  7. Now you have your bread-less cucumber cheese sandwiches, they’re perfect for a hot day or as finger food at a party

  8. PS: you can always slice the cucumber and present them separately as a dish n’ dip, add some dried peppermint to the cheese for an extra dose of fresh! and a better look!
