Step 1:

  • 1. Place the flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl,

  • 2. Then add the egg and Wisk

  • 3. Add the milk gradually whilst whisking vigorously

  • 4. On a non stick frying pan add a touch of oil and onto a medium heat
  • Step 5:

  • 5. Once the frying pan is warm/hot spoon the mixture on
  • Step 6:

  • Because of the baking powder there is no need to put too much mixture in as the pancakes will grow whilst cooking
  • Step 7:

  • This then creates lovely fluffy pancakes which are much doughier than the traditional English ones

  • This recipe goes well with chocolate spread and ice cream or a dash of lemon juice and a sprinkle of sugar
  • Step 10:

  • Fruit could be added to the batter to mix it up and make a nice breakfast alternative
