Cook the pasta, usually about 10 minutes
cut up the bacon and mushrooms into smaller pieces and fry in a pan with a little oil till cooked (this usually takes about 5 minutes, so should be done when the pasta is as well)
place the cooked bacon and mushrooms on a sheet of kitchen paper to drain any excess oil (optional)
drain the pasta when cooked
then put the pasta back in the same pan as you cooked it. Makes it easier to mix in the philadelphia as its still warm
add the philadelphia and mix until the pasta is well coated, and add salt and pepper to flavour
add in the mushrooms and bacon, stir until coated, and serve!
