  • This idea originally came from the lloyds grosmans sauces after i had one but i thought i give it ago and make my own :)
  • 200ml passata or tin tomatoes
  • medium onion (chopped)
  • one pepper (red yellow orange which ever is your fav) (chopped)
  • 2-3 tbsp's oregano, basil, or mixed herbs
  • 3-4 tsp garlic granuals (fresh is better but these work fine and they don't go off!)
  • two tbsp sugar
  • salt + pepper to taste
  • chilli flakes (optional)
  • about a handfull of sultanas, currents, raisins
  • spaghetti or pasta thats in the cupboard :)

Put some oil in a pan (wok frying pan whatever) add the onion let it soften a bit add the pepper do the same add the oregano and the garlic stir till onions and peppers are soft.

add the passata or tin tomatoes add the remaining more herbs if you want and season with the sugar, salt, pepper, more garlic if you like and chilli if your using. Leave the sauce to develope in flavour for ten mins on simmer.

once your happy with the sauce add the raisins cook the pasta stir through the sauce with the drained pasta add grated cheese (dry or fresh) if you got and left over meat (chicken or maybe pork )

again: with all the recipes that i've put on here change the seasoning to your taste
