Spaghetti Carbonara

Healthy low fat carbonara



  • For 4:
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 2 slices of wafer thin ham
  • 2 rashes of low fat bacon
  • 150ml low fat single cream
  • Salt and pepper to season


Cook the spaghetti in a pan of boiling water until it is tender and soft. Meanwhile, cut the ham and bacon into thin 5mm strips. Cook the ham and bacon until it is well done. Mix the cooked ham and bacon in with the low fat single cream, and heat for another 10minutes. Season with salt and pepper, and then serve.
