Tomato & Sardine Pasta

Delcious & nutritious !



  • 1 can of sardines in tomato sauce
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 50g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • salt & pepper
  • 75-100g pasta
  • handful grated cheddar


1) cook pasta by instructions

2) pre-heat grill to 200c

3) fry the onion, garlic, pepper and mushrooms in a little oil in a pan for 5-7 minutes.

4) add the sardines, tomatoes and seasoning and allow to cook until the pasta is cooked through.

5) once the pasta is cooked, drain and mix together with the sauce and place in a dish, sprinkle the cheese on top and place under the grill for 10 minutes
