What I Just Had For Lunch

Takes about 9mins, filling and tasty.



  • Oil
  • Pasta
  • Water
  • Salt
  • 2 Rashers of Bacon (per person)
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Tomato Pesto or Sauce (soup will do if you're particularly skint)


1 - Cook the pasta in the water with a little salt to taste

2 - Fry the rashers so that they're done around the same time as the pasta

3 - Drain the pasta

4 - Chop the bacon into squares

5 - Add the pesto/sauce/soup to the pasta and stir it well over a low heat, only add one or 2 spoonfulls

6 - Then add the bacon and continue to mix

7 - Grate some cheese into it and mix, it will melt, thickening the sauce.

8 - Tuck in!
