Ingredients
- Pea soup uncooked – 500 ml (2 cups)
- water for soaking
- broth of your choice – 3 l (12 cups)
- non-hydrogenated margarine nuvel -15 ml (1 tbsp)
- onion, chopped – 1
- celery cut diagonally – 1 branch
- carrot into small pieces – 1
- bay leaf
- ground savory – 2 ml (1/2 tsp)
- ham into small cubes – 60 ml (1/4 cup)
- pepper, salt to taste
Instructions
Put the peas into a bowl and cover with water
soak peas 6 to 8 hours or overnight
discard the soaking water
mix in a salad bowl the first ingredients
add the peas and remaining ingredients in a saucepan
cover and simmer about 3 hours
