Ingredients
- for one:
- one large potato
- one large carrot
- 2 parsnips
- a heaped tablespoon of cream cheese (garlic or chive preferred)
- salt and pepper to taste
- small teaspoon of butter and dash of milk to mash
- onions optional
Instructions
cut up the potato, carrot, parsnip and onion if you’re adding it
boil the potato, carrot and parsnip for 10 – 15 mins until soft enough for mashing.
I usually fry off the onion or if i fancy a crunch just add it in raw
mash like normal with milk but only tiny amount of butter, and then add a HUGE dollop of the cream cheese, mash altogether, season with salt n pepper to taste…
hey presto… AMAZING MASH!
