Step 1: cut up the potato, carrot, parsnip and onion if you’re adding it
Step 2: boil the potato, carrot and parsnip for 10 – 15 mins until soft enough for mashing.
Step 3: I usually fry off the onion or if i fancy a crunch just add it in raw
Step 4: mash like normal with milk but only tiny amount of butter, and then add a HUGE dollop of the cream cheese, mash altogether, season with salt n pepper to taste…
Step 6: hey presto… AMAZING MASH!
