Step 1: Knead the pastry and the brown sugar until well mixed.
Step 2: Roll all of the pastry into thin strips.
Step 3: Make the pastry into plaits (use three pieces of pastry for each plait)
Step 4: Put all of the plaits, with about an inch and a half of growing space in-between each one, on a greased baking tray.
Step 5: Sprinkle the caster sugar over the plaits.
Step 6: Place into the oven for roughly 20 – 30 minutes (but check on them every five minutes).
Step 7: Serve as a posh dough pudding!
