Step 1:

  • Boil a pan of slightly salted water, while waiting for the water to come to boil make sure the potatoes are of equal size so they all cook evenly.
  • Step 2:

  • Once the water has boiled add the potatoes to the pan and cook until they are done, you can tell by putting a sharp knife into a potato, if it stays on it isnt cooked, if it slips off it is.
  • Step 3:

  • Drain the potatoes and put them into a largeish bowl.
  • Step 4:

  • Let them cool for ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Step 5:

  • Add a spoonful of mayo and a spoonful of salad cream, keep adding until you have the consistancy you want. Either chop up a couple of sprigs of chives or put a desert spoon of dried chives in and mix.
  • Step 6:

  • Add a pinch of salt and some black pepper for seasoning, mix well.

  • For a tasty alternative fry up a couple of pieces of bacon and chop it up small and mix in too.
