Potato Salad Tasty and Filling By Guest Contributor August 23, 2009 Salad Preparation Time Cook Time Servings0IngredientsCharlotte or New Potatoes (1 Small Bag)MayonnaiseSalad CreamSaltChives (Dried or Fresh)Black PepperInstructions Step 1: Boil a pan of slightly salted water, while waiting for the water to come to boil make sure the potatoes are of equal size so they all cook evenly. Step 2: Once the water has boiled add the potatoes to the pan and cook until they are done, you can tell by putting a sharp knife into a potato, if it stays on it isnt cooked, if it slips off it is. Step 3: Drain the potatoes and put them into a largeish bowl. Step 4: Let them cool for ten to fifteen minutes. Step 5: Add a spoonful of mayo and a spoonful of salad cream, keep adding until you have the consistancy you want. Either chop up a couple of sprigs of chives or put a desert spoon of dried chives in and mix. Step 6: Add a pinch of salt and some black pepper for seasoning, mix well. Step 7: Step 8: For a tasty alternative fry up a couple of pieces of bacon and chop it up small and mix in too.
