Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 6 hamburger buns
- 2 cups coleslaw mix
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your slow cooker on low. Mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over it. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded pork with the remaining barbecue sauce in the cooker.
- In a separate bowl, combine coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
- To assemble, place a generous portion of pulled pork onto each hamburger bun and top with coleslaw. Serve immediately.
