Quick Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients

  • 1 Sharwoods OR Pakak Tikka Masala jar of paste.
  • Use about ½ jar
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 1 Green or Red or Orange Bell Pepper chopped in small bits (Optional)
  • 2 tbls cooking oil – More may be needed.
  • 1 tin chopped toms
  • 3 or 4 chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 100ml of double cream or crème fraîche or soured cream

Instructions

  1. Fry onions medium heat for 5 mins

  2. Add tikka paste and fry for another 10 mins gently -?? DON’??T BURN

  3. Add more oil if needed.

  4. Add chicken breast and cook for 5 mins

  5. Add chopped toms and cook until you get a nice thick consistency

  6. The water from the toms should evaporate so do not put the lid on the pan

  7. About 10 to 15 mins

  8. When the chicken is cooked add cream and stir well.

  9. Add Juice of ½ Lemon and stir well

  10. Serve with basmathi rice or Naan bread

  11. Enjoy!!
