Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup margarine or shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 1 Tablespoon water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 1/4 pound coconut
• 3 cups cornflakes

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs, then the rest of ingredients altogether. Drop on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
