Nutella Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 3tbs cocoa powder
  • 4tbs self raising flour
  • 3tbs milk
  • 3tbs veg oil
  • 2tbs nutella
  • 1 beaten egg

Method

1- get a big mug and put all the above ingredients in it

2- mix them all together

3- place mug in microwave for 1- 3 minutes (depending on how strong your microwave is)

4- tuck in!

    If you microwave it with a spoon it cooks faster and tastes better!

    This recipe is awesome, although we suggest dividing the mixture between 2 mugs, putting an extra blob of choc spread in the bottom of each, and only cooking for 70-80 seconds. This makes an awesome moist cake that you can munch down with a spoon :)

    Whilst the texture is enjoyable, the actual flavour of the product leaves a lot to be desired. The addition of nutella post-cook enhances what would otherwise be a fairly plain, yet suitably moist cake. We would suggest slightly undercooking the cake, as the batter creates an in-dish sauce. 3/5 stars. Would bake again.

    Worked really well and tasted so good!
    however every 30 seconds stop the microwave, leave it for 10 seconds, then start it again as it will overflow otherwise

    I melted two kit kats cause nutella ain't nice used 2 tsp on self raising flour tastes awesome

    Lovely, i used nutella, caramel & chocolate spread, and peanut butter. Put it in for 1:30 then stir then again for 1 minute :) didn't explode for me
