Perfect Multiveg Mash

get in your 5 day without realising



  • for one:
  • one large potato
  • one large carrot
  • 2 parsnips
  • a heaped tablespoon of cream cheese (garlic or chive preferred)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • small teaspoon of butter and dash of milk to mash
  • onions optional


cut up the potato, carrot, parsnip and onion if you're adding it

boil the potato, carrot and parsnip for 10 - 15 mins until soft enough for mashing.

I usually fry off the onion or if i fancy a crunch just add it in raw

mash like normal with milk but only tiny amount of butter, and then add a HUGE dollop of the cream cheese, mash altogether, season with salt n pepper to taste...

hey presto... AMAZING MASH!
