Scotch Pancakes

Easy snack to prepare. Scrumptious as well!



  • 175g Self raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 40g caster sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 200ml Milk (approx.)
  • Vegetable Oil


1. Put the flour, sugar and baking powder into a mixing bowl.

2. Add the egg and milk. Then, whisk gently until the batter is nice and thick.

3. Heat a non-stick frying pan with half a tsp of oil.

4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan.

5. When bubbles appear, flip the pancake over to cook for 30 - 60 more seconds.

6. Serve warm :)
