Quick Rock Buns

Yummy rock buns! Simple and quick!

Ingredients

  • 150grams self raising flour
  • 75grams block margarine or butter
  • 50grams caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Choose 1! –
  • 50grams Chocolate Chips
  • 50grams Desiccated Coconut
  • 75grams dried fruit

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl and add the butter/block margarine.

  2. Rub in the butter/block margarine by hand untill a breadcrumb like mixture forms.

  3. Add the sugar and chosen ingredient (e.g. chocolate chips) and mix well.

  4. Break the egg in a seperate bowl and mix (like scrambled eggs but dont add anything!).

  5. Add the egg into the rest of the ingrediets (flour, sugar, etc…)

  6. Make sure it’s a doughy mixture, then seperate into lumps, a size of you choice and place on a greased bakeing tray.

  7. Cook for 10 – 15 minuets at 180 degrees celsius or untill golden brown.

  8. Leave to cool, then ENJOY!!! 🙂
