Ingredients

  • 1 tin of frankfurters or bockwurst
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tin kidney beans
  • 1 tin baked beans
  • 1 tin tomatoes
  • I add 1 tin or either borlotti / cannellini / aduki / flageolet beans
  • oil (for frying onion)
  • 1 pint water/stock (beef stock cube works well)
  • pepper
  • tsp mustard (optional)
  • shake of worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fry chopped onion in oil. Add beans, tomatoes, sausages and stir well, add stock and season well. Bring to boil, simmer for 10 mins – hey presto, hearty and warming, serve with chunky bread……
