rhubarb and apple crumble

what it says in the title 😉

Ingredients

  • 400g rhubarb
  • 1 baking apple
  • 125g sugar
  • 175 flour
  • 100g butter
  • 40g water

Instructions

  1. stew the rhubarb in about 40g of water on the stove with a bit of sugar, until it is tender

  2. slice the apples and add to the rhubarb, put them in an oven proof dish and sprinkle with a bit more sugar over it for taste

  3. put butter and flour in a bowl and rub together until it resembles bread crumbs then add in the sugar

  4. then put the crumble over the rhubarb and apple

  5. bake for 10-20 mins on 180degrees until golden

  6. serve with hot custard or ice cream 🙂
