Ingredients

  • 4oz short grain rice
  • 1 1/4 pint milk
  • 1oz butter
  • 1 1/2oz sugar
  • 2 teaspoons nut meg

Instructions

  1. 1. Mix nutmeg and milk in a jug

  2. 2. Place thr ice and sugar in a oven proof dish

  3. 3. Pour the liquid over the rice dish and stir

  4. 4. Cut up the butter into cunks and dot around the dish and stir

  5. 5. Place the dish in the center of the oven for 30 mins at 150 degrees

  6. 6. Take it out of the oven give it a good stir then put it back in to another 30 mins

  7. 7. Then finally take it out once more stir and then cook for 1 hour

  8. (when cooked it’s should have a nice creamy skin on top and rice should be soft)

  9. 8. Take out and serve
