By Guest Contributor January 25, 2021 Dessert Preparation Time10mCook Time10mServings1Ingredients175g / 6 oz plain chocolate, coarsley chopped or grated3tbs water15g / half an oz unsalted butter3 yolks from medium eggs225ml / 8fl oz double cream1 tbs of vanilla caster sugar50g / 2 oz chocolate flakes, to decorateInstructionsStep 1:Put chocolater and water in a bowl.Step 2:Microwave on defrost for 1-2 mis until mixture melts.Remove bowl and add butter.Step 3:Stir until melted and cool for 5 mins. Stir in egg yolks one at a time.Step 4:Leave to cool for 15 mins.Step 5:Meanwhile whip the cream and sugar together until soft peaks form.Reserve one third and fold the remaining whipped cream into chocolate mixture.Step 6:Divide into individual serving bowl. Chill until set. Decorate with reserved cream and chocolate flakes.Step 7:P.S. For mousse with a hint of mocha, melt the chocolate with strong black coffee instead of water. Show Comments ▼
