Rock Buns

Very simple to make and absolutely yummy!

Ingredients

  • 200g self raising flour
  • 75g margarine/butter
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 75g dried fruit
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees/gas mark 7

  2. Grease baking tray

  3. sieve flour into a mixing bowl. Add the margarine/butter and using fingers mix until it looks like breadcrumbs.

  4. Stir in the sugar and dried fruit.

  5. Crack the egg into a small bowl and whisk with a fork. Add it to the mixture a little at a time. Then add the water, then stir.

  6. Using hands form the mixture into small heaps and then place on to baking tray.

  7. Bake for 15 minutes.
