Step 1: Preheat oven to 220 degrees/gas mark 7
Step 2: Grease baking tray
Step 3: sieve flour into a mixing bowl. Add the margarine/butter and using fingers mix until it looks like breadcrumbs.
Step 4: Stir in the sugar and dried fruit.
Step 5: Crack the egg into a small bowl and whisk with a fork. Add it to the mixture a little at a time. Then add the water, then stir.
Step 6: Using hands form the mixture into small heaps and then place on to baking tray.
Step 7: Bake for 15 minutes.
