Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 200g self-raising flour
  • 75g butter
  • 75g sugar
  • 1tsp water
  • baking tray
  • mixing bowl
  • scales ( if you haven’t weighed them out yet )
  • clean hands
  • knife
  • serving spoon (metal)
  • measuring jug
  • fork

Instructions

  1. pre-heat oven to 175 degrees C

  2. put flour and butter into bowl

  3. rub it between your fingers till it looks like bread crumbs

  4. add sugar

  5. put egg and water into jug

  6. break yolk and whisk with a fork

  7. add the egg mixture to the flour has comletley diapered and sticky

  8. dollop onto baking tray

  9. put into the oven for 15 minutes.

  10. Voilá! enjoy
