A Tasty Summer Salad

Ingredients

  • * 1 Handful of rocket
  • * 1 Handful of walnuts
  • * 1 Orange
  • * 1 Avocado
  • * Black pepper
  • * Olive oil
  • * Tofu (optional) you can buy tofu that has already been seasoned and cooked or buy it plain and uncooked.
  • * Chilli powder/ honey.

Method

* If you are using uncooked tofu. Start buy heating some oil in a frying pan.Drain the tofu, rub with oil and add chilli powder or honey. Cut into cubes and cook on a medium heat until golden brown.

* Place your handful of rocket on your plate.

* Peel and cut the orange into pieces and add to the plate.

* Scoop out the avocado and cut into cubes and add to the plate.

* Add the tofu once cooled.

* Sprinkle on the walnuts.

* Drizzle with olive oil and season with black pepper.

* ENJOY!

    SMOKED SALMON TORN ON TOP INSTEAD OF TOFU WOULD BE NICE TOO! I HATE TOFU IT TASTES LIKE AND LOOKS LIKE A BIT OF RUBBER

    Since when was it 4 a day, the amount they are going for is 5 (but tbh the more the merrier!)
    Im guessing just a typo but made me giggle.
    Sounds like a good salad, little out of my budget but there we go!
