Step 1:

  • Chop some of the red onion finely. Put the remainder in the fridge for another use.
  • Step 2:

  • Toast Bread to desired crunch, then butter.
  • Step 3:

  • If the thought of eating certain bits of the fish bothers you, i suggest taking them out first. But it really does taste all the same. So spread as little, or as much on the bread as you like.
  • Step 4:

  • Spread the onion on top, and finish with a sprinkling of black pepper.
