Scone Ring

A really big scone round cut into pieces

Ingredients

  • 200g self raising flour
  • 50g butter/margarine
  • 50g sugar
  • milk or plain yogurt to bind together
  • 50g or more of mixed fruit

Instructions

  1. Put flour in bowl and rub in the margarine

  2. add the sugar and fruit

  3. mix then add the milk or yogurt

  4. you want a stiff dough, not too sticky

  5. shape into a round and then with a knife mark into sections but dont cut too deeply

  6. bake at 180 for about 30 mins, not too sure on timings, basically when it is brown and you can insert a knife and it comes out pretty clean
