  • 1lb butter
  • 1 1/4lb flour
  • 8oz caster sugar
  • 4oz rice flour (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter to a cream.

  2. Mix in the flours and caster sugar.

  3. kneed and place into a greased high sided tin

  4. place in a moderated oven for 25min or until golden brown and hard in the middle
