Easy versatile pasta dish with meat and tomato sauce that can be eaten for a few meals

Ingredients

  • 1 jar of your favorite tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 box of dry pasta (preferably bite-sized such as rigatoni or penne)
  • 1 pound ground beef or italian sausage
  • half a white or yellow onion
  • 1 chopped green or red bell pepper (optional)
  • 1 clove chopped garlic (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add meat to a hot skillet and chop into bite-sized chunks

  2. once the meat releases a bit of grease add your onion and if desired the chopped pepper and garlic

  3. after starting the meat cook the pasta till tender

  4. cook the meat mix till the meat is browned

  5. once the meat is browned put on a plate with a paper towel to get rid of the extra grease

  6. add the meat mixture to the pasta along with the jar of pasta sauce until it’s heated through

  7. if you feel like it add some cheese on top while it’s still hot so it melts
