Liquid Cheese Omlette

Published Tuesday, 25 June, 2013 by Meredith Stevens

My mom used to make this :')

  • 2 cubes mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste
  • pepper
  • red chilli powder
  • a frying pan
  • butter

Cut the cheese cubes into smaller cubes, keep aside.

break the egg in a bowl and whisk with a fork until the egg has been whisked properly.

add the cheese cubes, salt, pepper, red chill powder an mix well.

put the butter in the pan and wait for it to melt and become frothy.

pour the egg mixture into the pan and wait for 1 minute.

using a fork, fold it into two halves.

keep pressing for 2 minutes, and turn sides.

take out on a plate.

Ketaki, thanks. I called her up in india to tell her about this comment on got on this recipe, and she was all, "dekha, maine kaha tha ki tumhare friends ko yeh ek din zaroor pasand aayga." (i kind of hated it when i was a kid, maybe because she used to make it so many times that i got bored of it.) and, chilli flakes work as good as chilli powder.

p.S. (the translation of my mom's lines is: see, didn't i tell you your friends definitely love it? )
p.S.2 if you're interested in anymore recipes, check out the "achari paneer tikka" i've shared. You'll find it in the "snacks" section.
