Poached Chilli Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika (pinch)
  • chilli flakes (pinch)
  • drop of vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1.Boil water in saucepan

  2. 2. Give water a stir clockwise (this will allow egg white to wrap itself closely around yolk)

  3. 3. Crack open a (fresh) egg into water whichshould still be going round

  4. 4. Add a drop of vinegar to stop it sticking to pan

  5. 5. Remove after 2 minutes and drain carefully

  6. 6. Place in plate, add salt, pepper, mixed herbs, and paprika or chilli flakes

  7. 7. Enjoy
