Soft Thick Pancakes :)

Delicious soft thick pancakes.
Difficulty Level: easy
Ingredients
- This recipe makes about 20 pancakes.
- Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- (approx) 470ml of milk OR 1 pint of milk
- 500g Self Raising Flour
- 6oz/170g Caster sugar
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
Instructions
Step to Step instuctions
1.First break the 3 eggs into a large jug or bowl.
2.Now pour the pint/ml of milk into the eggs.
3.Then whisk the eggs and milk together.
4.Add dry ingredients… first the self raising flour.
5.Next the oz/g of caster sugar.
6.Then the 3 teaspoons of baking powder.
7.Now whisk all the ingredients together.
8.Leave the Batter to rise for about 1 hour.
9.After an hour take a large spoon and beat the batter to a thick dropping consistency.
10. If you think it’s too thick add a splash of milk.
11.Heat a large frying pan or griddle on Medium heat.
12.Wrap a piece of butter in a serviette to grease the pan.
13.Now turn the heat up to full and use the spoon to dollop the batter on to the pan.
14.Leave the pancakes to cook until bubbles appear and the edges dull.
15.Seperate them with a spatula if they have stuck together.
16.Now flip them with a spatula.
17.Leave them to cook on the other for about 3 mins.
18.They should be evenly brown on both sides.
19.Place the cooked pancakes on to a wire rack with a clean dish towel over it.
20.There is nothing nicer than a warm pancake with butter
honey or jam. Enjoy! 🙂
