1.First break the 3 eggs into a large jug or bowl. Step 3:
2.Now pour the pint/ml of milk into the eggs. Step 4:
3.Then whisk the eggs and milk together. Step 5:
4.Add dry ingredients… first the self raising flour. Step 6:
5.Next the oz/g of caster sugar. Step 7:
6.Then the 3 teaspoons of baking powder. Step 8:
7.Now whisk all the ingredients together. Step 9:
8.Leave the Batter to rise for about 1 hour. Step 10:
9.After an hour take a large spoon and beat the batter to a thick dropping consistency. Step 11:
10. If you think it’s too thick add a splash of milk. Step 12:
11.Heat a large frying pan or griddle on Medium heat. Step 13:
12.Wrap a piece of butter in a serviette to grease the pan. Step 14:
13.Now turn the heat up to full and use the spoon to dollop the batter on to the pan. Step 15:
14.Leave the pancakes to cook until bubbles appear and the edges dull. Step 16:
15.Seperate them with a spatula if they have stuck together. Step 17:
16.Now flip them with a spatula. Step 18:
17.Leave them to cook on the other for about 3 mins. Step 19:
18.They should be evenly brown on both sides. Step 20:
19.Place the cooked pancakes on to a wire rack with a clean dish towel over it. Step 21:
20.There is nothing nicer than a warm pancake with butter Step 22:
