Butternut Squash Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 butternut squash
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 fresh red chilli's (or chilli powder/flakes/tobasco/hot sauce)
  • 1 onion
  • 3 gloves of garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • mixed italian herbs
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 2 pints water

Method

chop all veg

fry oinions and garlic on a medium heat in a big saucepan for 5 minutes

add water and vegetable sotck

add veg, bay leaf and herbs

boil until butternut squash is soft

blitz using a hand help blender, or in a food processor or something similar

    And butternutsquash are bland. Overall a tasty

    It Just finished making this delicious soup. Its got quite a kick to it. Even though this particular recipe dosent mention putting tabasco in, just a splash, it has given it that extra boost it needed, as the peppers
