Tattie (Potato) Soup

Filling delicious soup



  • 6 carrots
  • 1 big onion
  • ½ neep (turnip)
  • 4 knorr chicken stock cubes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Kettle boiling water
  • 8-10 medium tatties (potatoes)


Chop up and peel all the veggies apart from the potatoes and put in a big pot of boiling water along with stock cubes and salt and pepper. Boil for 1 hour and ½ then peel and chop potatoes and add to soup, and boil for a further 30 minutes, once cooked mash up veggies and its ready to serve, you will probably need to add more boiling water.
