Dice onion and pepper (if using) and fry half in pot until soft (add whole pepper).
fill pot with water, crumble in stock cubes and add chopped tomatoes.
bring to the boil and add garlic salt
blend soup mix until smooth
add remaining onions to pot and leave to simmer for 10 minutes.
add cous cous to pot and serve once soft
