Home › Someone Special › Spag Bol Spag Bol RECIPE BY Guest Contributor Excellent version of the italian classic made from scratch PREP 0 min COOK 0 min TOTAL 0 min YIELD 0 JUMP TO RECIPE SHARE Facebook Share on Facebook Twitter Share on Twitter Pinterest Share on Pinterest Email Share via Email Ingredients500g to 1lb of fresh steak mince preferably from the butcher1 red onion1 beef oxo cubepasta of your choice1 tblsp soy sauce1 tblsp lea an perrins sauce1 tblsp balsamic vinegar1tsp olive oilfresh basil (dried if you cant get fresh)1 tblsp tomatoe pureé1 can of good chopped tomatoessalt and peppercheese of your choiceInstructions Step 1: in a hot wok, add olive oil and fry mince untill brown drain any excess fat and add in crumbled oxo cube. toss and then add in chopped red onion, tomatoes, tomatoe pureé, lea and perrins, soy sauce and balsamic vinegar then leave for about 5 mins on low heat whilst you then cook the pasta in pan of boiling water (refer to package instructions as they vary) Step 2: Step 3: when pasta is done, drain and serve with sauce, chopped basil and grated cheese.
