Step 1:

  • Bring saucepan full of water to the boil and then add pasta to simmer on a lower temp.
  • Step 2:

  • Start frying the small strips of bacon
  • Step 3:

  • Add onions, pepper, olives and chorizo together and stir all the ingredients up.
  • Step 4:

  • Check pasta to make sure it is not cooking too fast or too slow.
  • Step 5:

  • When the ingredients in the frying pan start to cook more add in the chopped tomatoes which will thicken up the dish.
  • Step 6:

  • When everything is finished you should mix the pasta with the other ingredients (as well as a sprinkle of extra virgin olive oil) and serve up. Grilling cheese over the top is nice but not neccessary.

  • The chorizo will be the most pricely ingredient but the cheap pasta and other ingredients are suitable for student cooking.
