Spicy Ricey Mexican Chicken

Step 1:

  • 1 Put Rice in micrwave and cook according to instructions
  • Step 2:

  • 2 place chicken in a hot frying pan with the oil and fry for 1-2 minutes turning often.
  • Step 3:

  • 3 add chilli powder, salt and pepper and fry for a further 2 minutes.
  • Step 4:

  • 4 add the water and turn the chicken, then leave for the water to evaporate (this makes sure the flavouring has evenly coated the chicken and not stuck to different parts)
  • Step 5:

  • 5 add the sauce and stir for 30 seconds so that it heats up.
  • Step 6:

  • 6 put the rice on a plate and place the chicken on top.
  • Step 7:

  • 7 add the grated cheese, soured cream or lime jusice if you wish.
