Ingredients
- 100g S.R. flour
- 50g Margarine
- 50g sugar
- 1 small egg
- 1-2 tbsp strawberry jam
Instructions
1) seive flour into bowl
2) add margarine and rub in with fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs
3) add beaten egg to form a stiff dough
4) form mixture into a roll on a lightly floured board
5) divide into 8 equal portions, make each piece into a ball and flatten slightly
6) make a hole in the top of each cake using your finger, and fill the hole with
strawberry jam, place cakes on baking tray
7) bake near top of oven at reg 7, 220 c for 10-15 minutes
