Step 1:
1) seive flour into bowl Step 2:
2) add margarine and rub in with fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs Step 3:
3) add beaten egg to form a stiff dough Step 4:
4) form mixture into a roll on a lightly floured board Step 5:
5) divide into 8 equal portions, make each piece into a ball and flatten slightly Step 6:
6) make a hole in the top of each cake using your finger, and fill the hole with Step 7:
strawberry jam, place cakes on baking tray Step 8:
7) bake near top of oven at reg 7, 220 c for 10-15 minutes
