Step 1: For jalebi batter:
Step 2: 1). Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 mins.
Step 3: 2). Mix, flour, gram flour, oil, and sugar together
Step 4: 3). Add yeast and mix well making sure that there are no lumps and the batter is smooth.
Step 5: 4.) set the batter aside and let it sit in a warm place for 1 hour.
Step 6: 5) make sure the batter is fermented but do not over ferment.
Step 9: boil the sugar and water together. Add lemon juice and saffron and close the heat.
Step 12: method for making jalebi.
Step 14: 1) fill jalebi batter into a piping bag
Step 15: 2) squeeze the jalebi batter out into hot oil in a pretzel shape.
Step 16: 3) fry jalebi until golden brown on both sides
Step 17: 4) transfer into warm syrup
Step 18: 5) let jalebi soak in hot syrup for few seconds and take out.
