Step 1:

  • ? preheat the oven to 180c and line a baking tin ? i used 12x12in
  • Step 2:

  • ? place the butter and chocolate (broken into chunks) in a bowl, and melt down, either in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or over a bubbling pan on the hob. When melted, remove from the heat and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes
  • Step 3:

  • ? whisk together the eggs in a separate bowl
  • Step 4:

  • ? when the chocolate mix is cool add to the eggs and mix together
  • Step 5:

  • ? fold in the flour and cocoa powder until a nice gooey mix
  • Step 6:

  • ? add chocolate chips if using ? 100g advised, i use 50g dark and 50g white for a bit of variety!
  • Step 7:

  • ? you can add any other ingredients if liked, nuts or raisins for example
  • Step 8:

  • ? transfer the mix to your baking tin, and place in the oven
  • Step 9:

  • ? leave in for 25-30 minutes, until just firm to the touch
  • Step 10:

  • ? remove from the oven and leave to cool for 30 minutes
  • Step 11:

  • ? cut into squares and serve! Dust with icing sugar if wanted. Plain, cream, ice cream ? however you like it, just enjoy!
