  • > plenty of sugar to take away the bitterness of the vinegar

  • > (tbsp of sieved flour/cornflour if the mixture is really runny

  • then add this to the rest of the dish, and cook for about 15mins, until the sauce has thinkned up and is bubbling nicely.
