Sweet tomato spaghetti

An intensely sweet tomato spaghetti dish!

Ingredients

  • One tube of tomato puree
  • A handful of chopped onion
  • A pinch of grated garlic
  • One teaspoon of sugar
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Put the spaghetti on to boil.

  2. Meanwhile, pour a small glug of olive oil in a saucepan.

  3. Fry off the chopped onion for a few minutes until it gets a little softer and add the grated garlic.

  4. Squeeze in a very large amount of tomato puree (I usually use about 2/3 of a tube).

  5. Add a teaspoon of caster sugar (or granulated if that’s all you have).

  6. Put in a good pinch of salt and pepper.

  7. Mix well and wait until it’s fully heated through.

  8. Drain off the spaghetti, add the sauce and ENJOY!
