These tequila cherry espresso martinis are exactly what you have been looking for. The coffee and cherry combination is to die for and gives the classic espresso martini the perfect twist. To make these tequila cherry espresso martinis I used Patron X.O Cafe as my choice of tequila because it introduced even more great coffee flavor. For my coffee liqueur, I chose to use Kahlua because that is what I always use when a cocktail recipe calls for coffee liqueur.

I first started making these tequila cherry espresso martinis as just tequila espresso martinis last year when espresso martinis were getting a lot of hype. I didn’t hate the standard vodka espresso martini, but I am more of a tequila girl so I wanted to give the cocktail a shot with tequila instead of vodka. When I saw the Patron X.O Cafe I knew it would go perfectly into a martini and sure enough it did. The addition of cherries is new as cherries are now in season and I’ve been seeing a ton of creators using fresh cherries in their cocktails.
These tequila cherry espresso martinis are truly so good and would make the perfect dessert cocktail for your next party.
